From the ‘Slums Of Beverly Hill’s, to behind bars and beyond, Natasha Lyonne’s career has taken her far and wide. The Emmy-nominated star, born April 4, 1979, got her start as a teen and was quickly recognized for her snarky comedic chops. Her notable 90s and 2000s roles include ‘Dennis the Menace’ (1993), ‘Everyone Says I Love You’ (1996), ‘Slums of Beverly Hills’ (1998), ‘But I’m a Cheerleader’ (1999), the ‘American Pie’ series (1999 to 2012), ‘Party Monster’ (2003), and ‘Blade: Trinity’ (2004).

After a steady stream of movie roles, in 2003 she started her role on Netflix’s ‘Orange Is The New Black’, playing prisoner Nicky Nichols. The successful streamer was followed by her series ‘Russian Doll’, which she stars in, co-created, executive produces, wrote, and directed. The show earned her three Primetime Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

It’s wild to see how far Natasha has come. Here, a fresh-faced Miss Lyonne is seen at the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’. on Jan. 30, 1997. She had her hair up in a messy bun and wore a watercolor-style shirt.
